   Why not right now?

   She must be busy with other customers.

   Nice of her to come by, I need a minute anyway.

   one minute

   It depends how many other customers she has or if there's any food ready to go out of the kitchen.

   Umm, it should take her as long as it does so long as he/she brings them ASAP without making any pit-stops.

   What is the proper way to ask for a refill?

   click your ice around until someone shows up

   raise your glass and say "Excuse me" until someone comes by

   wait until someone comes by and ask them

   try to catch your waiter/waitress's eye and ask them when they come over
