We all know that the first date is a make-or-break situation. Usually within the first fifteen minutes of the first date, in fact, both parties have already decided whether to begin hatching plans of how to end the date with a kiss or how to avoid one. (Unfortunately, there are occasions in which one party is planning on going in for the kill and the other is contemplating killing him/herself as a means of escape.)
I've had thus far about 5 "blind" dates with guys I met online. Some have been amazingly successful and led to great relationships (friendship or otherwise). Others have been, well, . . . not amazingly successful.
Let's consider this a pre-screening tool. With any luck, we might discover whether it's even worth pursuing a first date. And in the interest of fairness, I'm not only considering whether I'd ever want to see you again, but also whether you'd be interested in me.
Please note: the results of this test in no way guarantee a first date with me, let alone a second. Conversely, there are times when sparks fly in the face of all reason, so a poor score doesn't necessarily preclude my interest.
