2. You don't have to be a Member of the Tribe to realize that there are famous Jewish people everywhere. While worldwide, only one in five-hundred people are Jewish (one in fifty-three in the USA), their influence is ubiquitous, comprising at least 20% of Nobel Prize winners (37% of American Nobel Prize winners are Jews), and 71% of the John Bates Clark Medal winners. It is also said that the majority of Hollywood is run by Jews (though this figure is only 60%, according to a "60 Minutes" piece). This quiz will test your recognition of famous Jews in the arts, sciences, and media.

4. For the purpose of this test, we will be using this rule-of-thumb, to determine Jewishness: In Judaism, you are the religion of your mother, regardless of whether you practice the religion. So, if your mom is a Jew, and your dad is a Muslim, you are considered to be a Jew. If your dad is a Jew, and your mother is a Catholic, you are considered to be Catholic. If your mother's mother's mother's mother was a Jew, by the Laws of Judaism, you are considered Jewish, as well. Also, for the sake of this test, conversions count. So, if someone is born Methodist, but converts to Judaism, we will call them Jewish.
