   As a personality trait, vanity has a pretty bad reputation. It can, however, be a powerful tool when used correctly.

   For example, think of the way you feel after a really good haircut or style. How about the way you feel while wearing new clothes? How do you feel after receiving a compliment about your physical appearance?

   Let me tell you how you feel.

   You feel good. You feel strong. Your heart thunders. Your body is alive with energy, like hot static bolting across your skin, and nothing can stop you.

   This test will gauge your level of vanity and determine the nature of your pride, all the while infusing you with greater and greater amounts of the sin itself.
