The Racism and White Privilege Test

1. Hi! And welcome to my Racism and White Privilege Test. My friend Kristin inspired me to write this test, after we realised that a lot of people in our lives had disappointed us by unexpectedly turning out to be racist or unaware of their white privilege. She joked that there should be a test so that we don't waste our time with people who turn out to be prejudiced, so now there is one.

   How do you feel about safe spaces and social resources that are restricted to people of colour?

   Why do we need them? People are people. Let's all be together. Why do minorities want to segregate themselves?

   This is reverse racism!

   Let's see how they feel if we start White Pride Clubs.

   They are a beneficial and necessary way to empower oppressed people.

   How do you feel about Black Power?

   Huh? What is that?

   If you can have Black Power, then why do you complain about White Power?

   Black Power attempts to liberate and affirm the beauty and self-respect of Black people, just as feminism tries to do for women.

   I don't mind it, as long as nobody is in my face about it.
