The Political Psychology Test

  1. If you are an ideological person, then it would benefit you to find a partner that has ideals that are similar to your own. Sometimes people appear to have similar ideals, but then later find out that their ideals are very different. That is because ideals are often described in a manner that is arbitrary, superficial, and irrelevant to a person's true fundamental ideals. There are many of such superficial classification systems, most of all the democracy / dictatorship spectrum (which does not regard ideals at all, but merely the means to enforce them), the 1-factor liberal / conservative spectrum, and the 2-factor social liberalism / economic liberalism classification system that is used by the United States libertarian party and okcupid. There are 4 particular natural psychological political ideologies. This test classifies people based upon those fundamental ideals, as opposed to superficialities. Experts were consulted in the making of this test, so I can not claim credit for it. Not all of the issues are mentioned, because not in all of the issues are there 4 clear different positions of each type. On other issues, there may only be 2 positions (e.g. yes / no), and from that it can not be determined which specific 1 of the 4 traits is manifesting itself, except sometimes when only one of the 4 traits can cause 1 of the 2 positions, in which one of the positions, but not the other, indicates the manifestation of a specific underlying trait. There are also specific fundamental beliefs that are closely associated with specific ideals. This test has 12 questions, all on 1 page. The scores are percentages.
