The OH GOD ZOMBIES Test

1. Made especially for RT's Zombie thread. If you've been directed here by the thread regulars, take a moment to see whether or not you should just kill yourself now and save humanity the trouble to dealing with your reanimated corpse.

   What knowledge do you have of firearms?

   Nothing past TV and video games.

   Minimal. Know where and how to operate the safety and magazine release.

   In-depth all of the above, plus proper form and cleaning.

   Are you or have you been (if more than one, choose whichever you had more experience in)... If none, skip. Note that this is the only question with no skip penalty.

   Military or a police officer?

   A Boy/Girl Scout or avid outdoorsman?

   An athelete?

   A doctor, or been trained in CPR and first aid?

   What is the biggest danger?

   Zombies

   Survivors

   Environment

   Yourself

   Assuming you live in a two story house in the middle of suburbia, stocked with food and weapons. What do you do once the outbreak begins?

   Fortify the building. Board up the doors and windows, build barricades out of furniture. It's safer to stay put.

   Take what you can upstairs, dismantle the staircase. Even if they break into the house, they can't get upstairs.

   Attempt to escape through unpopulated areas. Less people = less zombies. Suburbia is too close to the city. The zombies will move through soon.

   Attempt to escape through the city. More people to help you and more places to scavenge for supplies. The military would also be concentrating efforts here.
