Howdy.
You may or may not have noticed the (over?)abundance of "Metal" tests leaking through the cracks of this website. Most of them purport to be terribly accurate and/or prove how much of a loser you are if you don't like "good" metal.
This is fairly humorous, sure, but really just stupid, if you ask me. It tends to prove nothing except whether you share the tastes of the author. I'm going to make my best attempt to try and eliminate that silliness and give, instead, an inclination of what subgenre your tastes fall under. Or, more accurately, a breakdown between your appreciation for the four I'm limited to. Sorry "Nü-metal" and "Hardcore" (that's a damn style of punk, anyway! Learn your history!) fans...there weren't no room for yeh.
UPDATE: I've re-arranged scoring to try and account for the non-narrow minded metallers of the world (silly of me, considering my own stance inbetween subgenres...cheers to MT for calling attention to this. PS: Sorry, but it was only fair to delete scores, so you can re-do it and get a more accurate one. Of course, if you got a specific genre score, you'll just get it again.
