Many moons ago I used to run an email joke list with over 36,000 subscribers. A large portion of these subscribers sent me jokes.
Daily.
Fortunately, I love jokes, and read every one. Soon I could read a line or two and know the punch line which started to drive my friends crazy. The stock joke disclaimer phrase soon became:
Stop me if youve heard this one
except for you Robert. Shut up.
This eventually led to a new game at the bar I tended Name that Punch Line. Wed sit around trying to stump each other with classic and obscure jokes, and drinking to our successes and failures.
(Ok, so it was an excuse to drink. Don't tell anyone.)
Anyway, heres the "home" version of that game. Read the first line of each joke, and pick the appropriate punch line. Simple, right?
