The Mental Health Knowledge and Potential Dating/Compatibility Test

1. Hi! And welcome to my BASIC Mental Health Knowledge and Potential Compatability Test. I'll be using advanced logic and knowledge to determine your true knowledge of mental health. I review questions on OkCupid and so many submitted are specific to one mental illness and there are many with different types and levels of severity that normally the questions (although good) may be dismissed. It is not that they are not good questions it is the questions are too specific to one illness. I worked in the public mental health system and know that mental health consumers want, like anyone else, the ability to disclose their illness (when they feel comfortable) and to be accepted for who they are. For those who do not have a mental health diagnosis sometimes there are limited ways to know if you are not directly faced with a situation. This test is not scientific rather a starting point if the discussion needs to take place. Keep one thing in mind always, people with mental illness need friendships and love just like those who don't have a mental health issue
