The Mainframe Geek Test

1. Before PCs/Macs, before Unix, before Linux and the Penguins, dinosaurs walked the earth, and they were called........ MAINFRAMES! This test checks your knowledge of common mainframe terms. These are exceedingly simple items for your average IBM mainframer, but mere small machine types will flee in terror. Oh, and I threw in a couple of reminders that not all mainframes are labelled IBM, even today.
