The "Ironic Joke" Test

1. The true "Ironic Joke" is nothing you tell at a party. It is just a facet of living. It is something that you do or own or believe, which, in and of itself, is a ironic and funny. Some ironic jokes are small things: Perhaps a Disney Princess figurine at the top of your dresser, or a "Gone Fishing" bumper sticker. Other ironic jokes are so elaborate, multi-faceted, and long-running that they might encompass every waking hour of your life. The lengths at which you will go to make an ironic joke determine your dedication as an ironic humorist. I will do my best to determine this with a simple test.
