This test will measure how much you know about crime and the criminal justice system. If you see someone with a high score on this test, they are probably a police officer. Or a career criminal. Or maybe they just watch a lot of Law & Order. Proceed with caution.
You should pick the BEST answer to each question even if more than one is technically correct. For example, if I say "Joe shoots Bob in the head, hoping to kill him, and he succeeds. What crime was committed?", the answer is "Murder," even though answers like "Assault" and "Carrying a Loaded Firearm" might be technically correct as well. Don't be a jackass. Pick "Murder."
The test is based on the general law in the United States, but I've tried to keep the test jurisdiction-neutral within the US (in other words, hopefully people in all 50 US states would give the same answers). It's obviously just for fun, isn't legal advice, and isn't the official policy statement of any governmental entity. This is a dating site, for Christ's sake.
Good luck!
