  2. Welcome!

    Chatspeak, txt, txtspk, txtk, texting language and txt talk are all informal terms for SMS language. It's basically an abbreviated form of English slang that cuts down on how many keys or buttons you have to press to make (relatively) recognizable words.

    This test covers acronyms (using only the first letter of each word), abbreviated words that have numbers in them, and emoticons (smilies).
