Ah, the Five Colleges. Amherst College, Hampshire College, Mount Holyoke College, Smith College, and the University of Massachusetts at Amherst have become known as the strongest collegiate consortium in the United States, and rightfully so! Located within a geographic triangle that stretches only a few miles and is home to more than 30,000 undergraduates, these institutions that can often seem both perfectly grouped and completely different at once.
