The Energy Technology Test

1. Hello, citizen of planet Earth! This 35-question test will attempt to measure your knowledge of how humans capture and use energy, from nuclear to solar to charcoal. Although it's called "The Energy Technology" test, it will also ask you about energy basics, energy resources, and energy and society.

   This test is based on an undergraduate class I taught last year, so it's not all general knowledge. Don't worry too much about your score! I just hope you are at least as curious about energy when you finish as when you began.

   To me, energy is an immensely exciting topic because it spans science, engineering, economics, and politics. I couldn't believe no one else had written an OkCupid test on it before!

   All right, time to get energized.
