If a government kills a thousand people in a remote place in the world and no one ever finds out, are they still murderers? The history you have learned in school, from reading books, and certainly from watching TV is full of propaganda and half-truths that some agent or other wants you believe are facts. Government is not necessarily always the cuplrit either, it can be a corporation or a non-profit organization or a union or any sort of "interest group" whose real interest is profit. You pick up real facts of history usually by examining sources that use the facts as evidence for one of their own bullshit arguments and don't realize they are giving you a true fact, and they don't emphasize it either, but you read enough of these and you realize just how skewed your perception of history once was. So, here's my Deceptions of History Test. It asks you a few questions about well-known facts of 20th century history, except the answers are not the obvious ones and certainly not what they teach you in class.
