The D&D 3.5 Stat Test

  1. I've played D&D for many years and have noticed that everyone who plays, at some point in their lives, decides to "stat themselves". The problem is that they aren't very objective about it. They always think they are massively strong because they can tilt the couch back to look for the remote, but in reality they have pipecleaners for biceps. So I've decided to do all you gamers a favor and develop the ultimate, objective test to stat you. There will be a series of questions on strength, dexterity, constitution, intelligence, wisdom and charisma. While this isn't necessarily scientific, it is pretty comprehensive. If you want the test to be accurate, you have to answer the questions honestly. Don't give the answer you think you should give-- give the correct answer. Also, some questions don't initially seem to be related to a particular stat-- but on a subconscious-level, they reveal something about your character. I've done a couple of things to try to prevent people from "super-statting" themselves: (1) I've added more subconscious questions, i.e., ones that it is not apparent which stat it goes to; (2) I've also included some "dummy" questions-- questions that don't affect the test at all; and (3) I've randomized the questions so that we no longer start the quiz with strength questions, then dexterity questions, etc. There are 36 questions and it tracks separate statistics for each of the six ability scores. Enjoy. If you have any questions, please email me at quizzes@animalball.com with your input.
