The Brain Cell Calculator

  1. You are about to take a highly advanced test using a program designed by top-level academics in the fields of both neuroscience and computer programming. This test is a proven success in calculating the exact number of neurons and glial cells (commonly referred to as 'brain cells') that an individual has in his or her head at the time of taking the test.

Were we to have discovered this breakthrough earlier, it would have entirely changed the face of the field of psychology. We can now measure exactly what will go through the mind of a person at any given moment based on the number of glial cells in their brain and where they are located. Psychologists, however, are unwilling at this time to accept this program as valid. You can make your own decisions about this.

Just as though you were to be strapped to a machine and a reading taken, this special program can gage your exact intelligence by just your sex, age and medical history as well as any bone or muscle injuries you may have taken throughout your life.

Rick A. Lanham, a noted scholar in Rhetoric, said in 2006: "[A] scarce resource is the human attention needed to make sense of the enormous flow of information, to learn, as it were, how to drink out of the firehose." This applies extremely well to the program you are about to use. It is the painstaking result of more than half a century's advances in neuroscience and almost a decade of computer programming across the span of several universities. Lanham himself was among the first to test it, and with the information he gave the testers were actually able to predict what he would choose to do throughout the next week, to a point of 87.5% accuracy.

Rolled up into a relatively simplified one-variable HelloQuizzy test, the method is still no less accurate. Submit your test scores to astley@www.ox.ac.uk to receive a more complete diagnosis with a 74.1% accuracy rate.
