1. Hi! And welcome to the Bitter Waitress Test. Though not everyone has waited tables, the odds are stacked against you: there are a lot of restaurants out there, and a lot of poor students/people adrift in their early twenties (or older, and trust me: there's nothing wrong with that) who need some cash and just don't have it in them to strip for it. Waitressing is more complicated than customers like to think it is, and requires a great deal of patience, stamina, spatial and short term memory, as well as extensive negotiation skills that would put the U.S. diplomatic corps to shame.... well, during Bush' tenure, anyway. But let's begin.
