The Basic Cryptology Test

1. I had a chat with an intelligent, even somewhat geeky, young man the other day and was appalled to find out that that he had no idea what crypto was all about.
   So I've written this test to delight and entertain susceptible young minds - like yours - with tasty bits of facts and trivia about cryptology.
   It's a pretty basic test. It's more instructive than interrogative. If you know just a little bit about crypto, it'll titillate you silly. If you know a lot about crypto, you might be titillated by how silly it is.
   Plus there's a bonus cipher puzzle at the end.
