2. This quiz will test your knowledge of colors and especially color names.

   • Caveats:  your monitor or viewing conditions may not render the colors properly; color names vary between cultures; and color vision varies among individuals. Also, the author finds the variety of named colors bewildering.
   • Considering these difficulties, you should be able to guess good answers by using logic.
   • Partial credit given for close answers.
   • Color names used in the test are from widely accepted authorities on color.
