In 2010 the Texas Republican Party rammed through a state party platform without giving convention delegates an opportunity to amend the platform or to vote on specific issues. The resulting platform, to put it VERY mildly, has aroused quite a lot of debate in political circles, since it is more radical than most third-party or fringe-movement political platforms. Of course, most political party members don't actually bother to read their party platform... so, for those who might consider themselves Republicans, or who are just curious to discover if they are one, here's a test to see if the GOP leadership in Texas thinks you're Republican material.
