Congratulations, you are The Operative!!!
Precious little is known about this mysterious, highly trained assassin.
He goes about his philosophic brutality with offputting calmness and ease. There is
one deduction we can make about his character from watching his actions though...The Operative is one bad dude.
The very idea that he doesnt have a name at all is something that is both creepy and lends him a weird sort of nobility.
The Operative believes his mission is to protect the Alliance at all costs, which makes him far more dangerous than a paid assassin. He thinks of himself as an instrument of the Alliance.
He is hell-bent on doing 'justice' on
his own terms, by finding River or destroying her along with Serenity, and its crew.
He is an assassin and tracker who speaks with eloquent sophistication. While conversing between blows with Mal, he confidenly states that he cannot be angered by anyone.
Mal and the Operative have opposite ideals. The Operative thinks humanity is sinful and is quick to point out the faults in people, including himself. But the Operative also believes that the Alliance can somehow create a perfect world - albeit a world he has no part in - where sin is no longer an issue. The Operative believes so strongly in this that hell partake in whatever violence he deems necessary to create this world of peace and harmony.
Even in his high-level position though, the Alliance is pulling wool over his eyes. Mal plays a pivotal part in showing him the
real truth about the world.
In the end The Operative renounces his pledged alliegance to the Alliance - possibly to become a fugitive from the Alliance himself.
