If your reading this than I really can't figure out 'What type of Punk Rocker' you are, but according to my personal experiences in the Old School Punk Scene (1980-1993) and my Goth phase (1993-2000) you are more diverse and less extreme than the 'freaks' I knew. Times have changed in the scene since I left and 'misfits' today, I think, are more outside the box than we were. But it doesnt matter wether you're a Punk, Gothic, Skin, Waver, Mod, Oi Punk, Nazi Punk, Rude Boy, Industrial, Death Rocker, whatever, things will eventually change again and likely you will change as well, that is what life is about: change, and PUNK or Goth (or whatever) will ALWAYS be a part of you but it will NEVER be ALL of you. And it doesnt matter if you dont fit in with the extremists or hard core labels because Punk Rock is'nt just about the fashion or the music or even a life style or a political movement, it's more about Anarchy, rebellion and breaking the rules!
So even if you are a Poser or a New Waver or a Trendy it doesnt freakin matter, it means your open minded and not afraid to try new things by listening to new music and experimenting with weird fashions and you dont give a fuck what other people think and if you ask me that puts you right back into the group with the Punks anyways because that is what it's really supposed to be about.
The truth is no one has a right to lable you anything except yourself, nobody knows everything about the way it's supposed to be and if someone calls you a Poser than it's probably because they are afraid you'll figure out THEY really are a Poser with a small mind.
My favorite alternative person who broke the rules and just didnt give a crap what people thought and did'nt sell out like Madonna...
Cindy Lauper!
P.S. Cindy if your reading this, will you marry me?
