Mumm-Ra is the evil villain of the series. He is undead, thus the walking mummy thing. Mumm-Ra likes to call himself the "ever living source of evil." He does seem to be immortal, but he isn't without his weaknesses either.
Mumm-Ra is a master of ancient magic, but in spite of his ego he really is a servant of The Ancient Spirits of Evil who are the benefactors of his abilities. He also loses energy and has to return to his Egyptian-like sarcophagus to regroup. He also goes there when he sees his own reflection. (Evidently he can't stand the sight of himself.)
Besides his magical prowess he is able to transform himself into any character that suits him. He has even portrayed himself as the deceased Jaga to trick Liono.
For all intents and purposes it seems that Mumm-Ra is clever, strong, and innately evil.
