Our match search is already advanced, but with an A-List membership you’ll have additional filters to help narrow down your results.
Match questions
Now you can filter your results by how many match questions users have answered. The more intersecting match questions you have with another user, the more likely they are to be a good match.
Dating Persona
You can also filter matches based on the results of our Dating Persona Test. Figure out the personality type that fits you best. Looking for someone deliberate, random, gentle, or brutal? How about a love master, love dreamer, sex master, or sex dreamer?
Popularity Ratings
Filter through matches using profile and Quickmatch ratings from everyone on the site. A good way for you to check out those extra popular people hanging around OkCupid.
Sorting things out
With A-List, you can sort your matches by specific personality traits, and more. Looking for that kinky, spontaneous, athletic type? Now you can find ’em.
Personality Traits
Ordering matches by personality traits gives you access to 14 of the personality traits we calculate for our users. You can combine any combination of five, and rank how important each of the traits are to you.
Customize
The “Custom” ordering option lets you sort users using a combination of our default options such as match %, distance, and join date. But we’ve also added the option to sort by profile and Quickmatch ratings.
Similar users
You’ve found someone interesting on the site, and you want to find people similar to them. No problem—enter their username in the “Similar to a user’ option, and we’ll show you a list of people who match them well.
Totally Random
No explanation needed. This option will show you a healthy mix of randomly selected users.

Multiple saved searches
We’ve always saved your most recent search settings for you. With an A-List membership you can save more than one, and load them up at any time. Simply click the save icon under your match settings and name your search.
Exposure time
An A-List membership also gives you extra exposure. Staff Robot might place you in the special A-List Matches column of results.
Express yourself
With an A-List membership, you can create photo albums and share more of yourself with the world.
Visibility
Public or private—it’s your choice. By using the settings menu on each photo album you can limit who has access to your photos. Those who are excluded won’t even know the album exists.
Privileges
Staff Robot is pretty picky about profile images, and for good reason. But photo albums don’t have to be only of you. Feel free to upload photos of your dog, your grandma, or most other things. That includes mature photos. You can mark albums as mature and they’ll only be available to other A-List members.
Simple editing
Want to reorganize your photos? No problem! We’ve made it really easy. Just drag your photos to reorder them within an album, and you can move photos by dropping them into other albums.
Attach!
You can also send photos along with your messages. Check out the messaging extras to learn more.
Extra, extra!
Messaging people on OkCupid will always be free! But with an A-List membership you’ll have more storage, and the ability to attach photos to your messages.
Attachments
You can send any one of your photos to another member on the site. There is even an option to upload new photos directly from your computer or online.
Storage space
The default inbox holds 300 messages, but with a membership you’ll be able to store up to 5,000 messages.
Special delivery
There are plenty of users with a full inbox, and that means we can’t deliver their new messages. A-Listed members can send messages to those users and still get through. And the recipient can respond without having to clean out their inbox.
Stand out from the crowd
As an A-List member you can choose (the option is on your settings page) to display a badge next to your username. When we deliver a message from you it’ll be displayed in pink along with your badge—that should get their attention.
It’s better to give than to receive!
Are you a giving person? When you join A-List, you can give away as many awards as you like!
Awards
Do you know someone really great? Let others on the site know just how awesome they are—give them an award. Everyone can give give up to three awards per day, but A-List members can give as much as they wish, just like Santa Claus!
Giving awards
If you haven't tried it yet, simply visit a user’s profile and click the “award” button in the top right corner. Awards must be accepted by the recipient before they can be displayed. If your award is rejected for any reason, you won’t be able to give them another, but there are plenty of people to award on OkCupid!

No ads
Since OkCupid is free we’re supported by ads, but an A-List membership entitles you to a completely ad-free experience.
Badges
A-List users have the option (check your settings page) of standing out from the crowd by displaying an A-List badge next to their username.
